ABOUT APARTMENT
Hiranandani is one of the most famous and premium residential complexes in north Mumbai, in last few years it has developed as fully functional commercial hub as well as start-up destination, there are many start-ups running in and around areas in Powai. Overall styling of the buildings is inspired from European architecture style it is preferred area by businessmen, Television artist as it has very good approach to Airport, Goregaon film city, recording studios around. Powai is well connected to western highway as well as eastern highway with beautiful Powai Lake and hills surrounding the area.
INTERIORS PROJECT
In 2017 Mittal family purchased descent size 2bhk apartment and decided to renovate as per their requirements. As both husband and wife work with multinational companies they are highly occupied with their challenging jobs and wanted some professional interiors company to look after their renovation project. In order to search the best interior designers and decorators in Powai Mumbai, they had meetings with quite a few interiors companies in Goregaon, Malad, Powai areas but could not freeze the vendor. They decided to talk to many of their friends and neighbours who got interiors done in last couple of years, this lead to meeting with decormyplace team and they concluded to go with us due to our transparent pricing policy, long duration warranty support and high material quality specification.
The scope of work involved kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, walk in wardrobe, new kitchen counter top, basic false ceiling.
This apartment is on higher floor in high rise building and has east west openings so most of the time there is lot of light inside the apartment, so they preferred DARK colour theme to reduce the impact of too much of light. From day one they specified us that they wish to use lot of glass in the apartment so that cleaning becomes easy and no need of change of wall colours etc. frequently. They were highly fascinated with indirect or cove light concept and used it quite a lot almost in every room wherever possible.
CLIENT’S COMMENT
After purchasing Powai apartment in 2017, we started talking to quite a few interior designing companies in Mumbai especially in areas like Powai, Goregaon, Malad, it took us around 1 month to visit and discuss the scope and finalize designing company for our project. Team decormyplace came in contact through our friend in Thane and we found their overall approach convincing and transparent, so decided to handover our project to team as a turnkey contract. Designing methodology was quite elaborate and we were involved deeply in the process for around one month. The 3D making process was quite interesting and it has helped us a lot to get the clear idea of overall view of our apartment, execution phase went as planned, as project was executed in rainy season it took 2 weeks more than anticipated but the end product received as planned and visualized by us.
