Couple, Ashish and Anjali Mehta are highly educated family with 2 daughters and his mother. Mr Mehta is management graduate with wide experience in HR field and his wife Anjali is an artist and conducts various classes like painting, crafts and she also participants in various prestigious arts exhibitions quite frequently.

Mr and Mrs Mehta started their search through web for interior designers in Undri area an interior company that can fulfil their expectations of the dream home. During their search for interior designers in Undri they met various interior designers in Pune had thorough discussions with them and tried to understand the offerings what they can get from these designing companies. During their search they noticed that most of the interior designing companies have their own set of designs that they wanted them to follow or accept as a part of project, but couple had their set of designs in mind, so they wanted team to understand those expectations and be flexible to work around those. As per them when they met decorMyPlace team they found that team was quite flexible, and they were ready to listen to their suggestions and workout designs as per their requirement rather than pushing their own template which was major factor for them to decide to go with and decorMyPlace team for their dream home in Undri area. During selection they appreciated our execution methodology as well along with warranty surety.

Mehta couple wanted their house very simple with minimalistic interiors straight lines and they wanted to have a wooden flavour in their house so that’s the reason they chose Veneers and wooden shade laminates, the prime designing element in their interiors. This project involved some civil work like demolition of kitchen platform and rebuilding of kitchen it to match their requirement as they wanted to install dishwasher, washing machine and various other appliances in the kitchen itself as they merged their utility gallery with the kitchen. In this project we even added a few teak wood components like corner bookshelves, dining table, coffee table with recliner chairs in their living balcony. To decorate balcony our team used Sherwood ceiling with the PU polishing that looks like wooden plank fixed ceiling, along with various type of lighting so that they can have ambient lighting in their balcony. This couple had a typical requirement like they wanted to create walk in wardrobes they wanted to have elaborate storage in bathrooms as well they were very particular about the upholstery or the quality of upholstery, they were interested in. Family keeps on travelling internationally so they wanted to have a loft which can accommodate their large travelling bags, so we had to create special storage considering the measurements of their large travelling bags.

As far as false ceiling is considered they were not very keen on the false ceiling, but they wanted various types of lighting arrangement so instead of false ceiling lighting in this apartment we used lot of wall lightings especially wall fixtures and fittings which can have various types of lighting like cool white warm white and natural white as per their mood, they can switch to various types of lighting. Just to add some aesthetics in ceiling we fixed charcoal strip in ceiling like Cornish design.

The two daughters are dancers so they wanted dedicated space for their dancing practice, where they can practice dancing every day, to get bigger space for their dance practice in the kids’ room we opted for WALL FOLDING OR MURPHY BED that gets folded whenever they want to practice dance. In kids’ room one wall is completely covered with the mirrors as there is a mandate to have large one, especially for dancing practice so that they can see their moves while practicing.

In kitchen they had few things in a mind for example they wanted pantry unit fitting that we used in tall unit, wanted to have one chalkboard so that daily message food menu etc. can be mentioned on the chalkboard to add fun factor in daily life.
