At decormyplace we give you chance to interact with client and understand their requirement in the first three months of course itself, students are involved in complete execution process as an assistant, there are regular visits to our manufacturing facility,students can actually see the machines and furniture items getting manufactured which may not be possible in case of traditional designing learning courses in colleges.

As a part of curriculum we just don’t focus on the teaching of designing software but we firmly believe in practical experience of the field. Our students are involved in every real process of interior designing like meeting with clients, they are made part of practical designing process and they are even involved in supervision and review meetings with clients.

After spending two years at decormyplace student comes as true designing professional with confidence and can start practice rather than finding job as trainee designer.

As the world is moving towards virtual presentations, we impart thorough knowledge about all the designing software like 2D software AutoCAD, 3D software like google sketch up, 3D max etc. During this training various lessons are focussed on developing the power of visualization, excellent time management and getting in depth knowledge of designing software in short span of time.

Interior designing is a unique profession in which the maximum amount of interaction is needed with client as compared to any other profession. Thus interpersonal skill plays very important role in this profession. At decormyplace, we specially focus on imparting interpersonal skills, soft skills to the students, so that they are successful in their profession.

Interior designing is all about imagination and smart usage of various materials options to bring your imagination to reality. At decormyplace we give chance to students to actually see and feel the every possible material which can be used in interiors. Every year interior material companies are bringing various new material in the market like lights, laminates, panels, stones, veneers and many more. We take students to various exhibitions like INDIA WOODS, ACETECH, CONSTRO etc.

There are scheduled trips to hardware market every quarter so that students are always updated on the new trends, we take them to various galleries like HAFELE, HETTICH, BLUM and few other multinational brands showroom and company representatives give the details of every product and their technical specification and fitting procedures and practical situations of application.

Thousands of applications are sorted out thoroughly and students are interviewed and only those students are selected which truly wish to be in interiors field as passion, rather than just another career option. We select only 10 – 12 students every year for this course.
